Islamabad: Strongly condemning Pakistan at the SAARC Home Ministers’ meet, Rajnath Singh on Thursday said terrorists should not be praised and no such peace-breaking elements should be portrayed as martyrs.

Addressing the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Home Ministers’ meet, Rajnath said-

  • There should be strongest of action not only against terrorists but also against organisations, individuals and nations who support terrorism.
  • There is no good or bad terrorism as terrorism is terrorism.
  • There should be no glorification or eulogising of terrorists as martyrs.

Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif tagged Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani as a martyr.

Burhan was killed by Indian Army in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir.
