Rajive Kumar is the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow: The 1981-batch Uttar Pradesh IAS Rajive Kumar took over as the new Chief Secretary of the state replacing Rahul Bhatnagar.
Rahul Bhatnagar has been made chairman of Greater Noida and investment commissioner, UP at New Delhi.

Rajive Kumar, who was Secretary in Shipping ministry, Government of India, prior to this, had given his joining in the state government on Wednesday, putting at rest all the speculations about his joining. The name of Rajive Kumar, an officer of clean and efficient image, had been doing rounds ever since the Yogi government came into being in the state.
The outgoing 1983-batch IAS Rahul Bhatnagar, as Chief Secretary of UP, had been among the controversies prominent being his alleged role in Rs 1513cr scam in the Gomti Riverfront Development project in the state capital.
