UP Polls: Amit Shah launches BJP's first road show in Uttar Pradesh

Allahabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah launched his party's first road show during the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections here on Tuesday, with garlanding the sculpture of martyred freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad.

The six kilometer long road show of the BJP chief witnessed huge mass gathering.

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah addressed an election meeting in Munderwa region of Basti district.

"BJP is the only party, which can bring Uttar Pradesh on development track. Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party have looted the state for years. Give us a chance to serve you, and I promise, you will never regret," said Shah.

The Sangam city would also witness a road show of alliance partners Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday.
