1 policeman killed, other injured in Kashmir, gunfight continues

Poonch: One cop lost his life and other policeman injured on Sunday in a terrorists attack in Poonch of Kashmir.

The attack took place when security officials were informed about the presence of highly armed terrorists’ at under constructed mini secretariat building near the Army's 93 Brigade headquarters.

A sub-inspector was injured in an encounter.

Indian Army troops are rushed to the area where the gunfight is taking place.

"The militants have been surrounded and all escape routes were sealed" said a senior police officer.

Three terrorists are also killed in the Nowgam region. Several weapons recovered in the search operation.
