PM Modi, President, Vice-President wish nation Eid-ul-Fitr
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Hamid Ansari have extended their heartily greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr,.
Wishing peace and harmony to the society, PM Modi President took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish the nation.
My greetings and best wishes on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this special day deepen the spirit of harmony and peace in society.

"I convey my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the citizen of our country on the joyous occasion of Id-ul-Fitr. May the noble ideals that mark Id-ul-Fitr enrich our lives with peace, prosperity and the spirit of humanity. It reaffirms our abiding faith in the spirit of compassion and charity,” said Vice-President Hamid Ansari.
Interestingly, Modi also wished the festival to the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
