People are migrating from Kairana for employment :Shivpal
Lucknow: The Samajwadi party leader Shivpal Yadav admitted that the Hindus have migrated from Kairana, but, the reason is different for their departure. "Villagers did not leave the place because of communal reasons, but, for employment reasons", he said.
The Uttar Pradesh minister, in a press conference, on Friday, said that Bhartiya Janata Party is trying to vitiate the atmosphere in the state by communalising the issue.
What Shivpal Yadav said:
The minister stated, “There is no exodus in Kairana or anywhere in the state. The families have migrated from the area for employment reasons and we have intelligence inputs and other reports in this regard.
“BJP leaders including Hukum Singh are communalizing the issue for political gains, as assembly elections are near,” said the minister.
Shivpal targets PM Modi:
Yadav also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP MLA Sangeet Som and said that he should worry about the people who who migrated from Gujarat post- Godhra riots that took place in year 2002.
"The entire state has become aware of the deeds of the BJP. They are involved in all illegal works including grabbing land and fake currency trade. We are also initiating probe against them and strict action will be taken after the inquiry’’, he said.
