BJP has failed to curb crime in Uttar Pradesh: Mulayam

Etawah: Taking a pot shot at his son and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday said he is no more a member of party.

While speaking to reporters at his residence in Etawah, Mulayam said, "I am no more in the party. I will have to become a member through SP's membership drive."

Mulayam refuted the reports of alleged feud in the family after a tragic loss in the assembly polls. He said, "All is well in the family. BJP won with full majority. We also won in 2012." adding, "We are not going for any alliance for now."

It may be mentioned that Akhilesh Yadav has on Saturday started a membership drive to link more and more people with the party. The programme will continue for two months and SP has planned to cover every section of the society.
