Mulayam Singh may even kill Muslims for power: Indresh Kumar

Lucknow: A day after Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav justified police action on Hindu karsewaks in early 90s at Ayodhya, a senior RSS leader has dubbed him as ‘murderer’ urging intervention of the judiciary and the National Human Rights Commission in the wake of his statement.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak and National Muslim Manch organizer Indresh Kumar on Sunday came down heavily on Mulayam and called him as a criminal and a murderer who could do anything to grab the power.

Indresh said:

• Mulayam may even kill muslims for the sake of power.
• Whatever he did at Ayodhya, was to appease Muslims to gain power in Uttar Pradesh at any cost.

Indresh has also appealed to the court and NHRC to take suo moto cognizance of Mulayam’s statement.

“I will appeal to the Central government, apex court and NHRC to file a case against Mulayam,” he said adding, “his public statement may disturb the tranquillity of the society and ignite communal passions.”

Indresh also requested the people of Uttar Pradesh to teach Mulayam a lesson in the 2017 Vidhan Sabha elections.

What Mulayam Singh Yadav had said?

• Several causalities had taken place in the firing in early 1990s during Ram temple movement at Ayodhya but it was very much needed in order to sustain national unity.
• I would not have bothered had the causalities been even more than the actual number of sixteen.
