Gurgaon to Gurujam; herculean traffic jam paralyses life
Gurgaon: Though traffic jams have become a regular feature but to everyone’s worst nightmare the commuters were stranded for several hours on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway on Thursday evening following torrential rainfall in the national capital region.
From cars, to two-wheelers and other modes of public transport – everyone was stuck for over four hours, especially on the Delhi-Jaipur stretch at the Hero Honda Chowk.
Commuters took to twitter and alleged that Gurgaon district administration did not help in solving the traffic jam but on the other hand the Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk said the entire traffic and district police force was on roads to help commuters.
