PM Modi pledges to eradicate social and economical evils
Jamshedpur: Stressing on the slogan of ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said, that his government would make all possible efforts to eradicate social and economical evils from rural India.
“A misconception is being spread that our government is urban centric India. We have contradicted this as my government is committed to improve rural lives also,” Modi said in his address.
Quoted Mahatma Gandhi:
The Prime Minister even quoted father of nation Mahatma Gandhi, in his address saying “India lives in its villages.”
“Do not village deserved the same development we see in cities?” he added.

- Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was started from Haryana in the view of sex ration.
- Launched Atal Pension Scheme for elderly people.
