New Delhi: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday expressed happiness over removal by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of senior party leader Dayashankar for his deprecatory remarks.

“I really appreciate the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for sacking Dayashankar Singh but I would have been happier if the party itself had registered the FIR against Singh,” Mayawati said in parliament on the fourth day of monsoon session.

Thanking all the member of parliaments for speaking in one tone, the blue brigade chief said that the remark of Dayshankar has upset women across the country.

Raised Dalit issue:

  • Everyone is talking about injustice being done to Dalits but nothing seems to be done for them.
  • Atrocities on Dalits continue to happen, but they do not get justice which is a reason of sadness for dalits.
  • All the MPs are talking about the atrocities on Dalits but nothing happens practically.
