Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party's second list of 100 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh was released by the party chief Mayawati on Friday.

Out of the 403 candidates, names of the first 100 were announced by the BSP supremo on Thursday last. The list announced earlier had 87 dalit candidates.

Mayawatri, earlier in a press conference, had indicated caste-wise details of her party's list during a press conference in Lucknow. The former UP CM had said that the party had decided to allocate 113 tickets to upper caste (66 to Brahmins, 36 to Kshetriyas and 11 to Kayasthas, Vaishyas, Punjabis), 106 to backwards, 97 to muslims, 87 to dalits and 85 were reserved for the Scheduled Castes.

Mayawati has stated that she had decided the candidates long ago and there will be no change in it.
