Lucknow: In a much awaited administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday transferred 67 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers which included several principal secretaries and 22 district magistrate.

Bulandshahr DM B Chandrakala and Lakhimpur DM Kinjal Singh, who were in the controversies owing to their high ended behaviour were also in the list. While Chandrakala was sent to relatively smaller district Bijnor, Kinjal has been shifted to Faizabad.

It may be recalled that Chandrakala was in the news after a selfie row while Dudhwa National Park administration was demanding Kinjal's transfer.

The change in the districts was necessitated as about 20 DMs who were promoted to IAS from state serviced had to undergo induction training programme conducted by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
