Maharashtra cadre IAS to join UP on inter cadre deputation

Lucknow: Dheeraj Kumar, the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Maharashtra cadre, will be joining Uttar Pradesh government on inter cadre deputation.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, on Tuesday, approved inter-state deputation of 2005-batch officer for a period of three years on personal grounds, an official spokesman said.

Earlier, an Indian Railways Store Service (IRSS) officer Amit Singh was cleared for the posting in Uttar Pradesh.

Incidentally, few Maharasthra cadre IAS and IPS officers were posted in UP on inter cadre deputation during previous Akhilesh Yadav regime.
