Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday inducted a total of 11 ministers in his council of ministers.

Two Shiv Sena legislators were also inducted in the council of ministers as ministers of state.

Minister of state, home, Ram Shinde has been promoted to cabinet rank and likely to get portfolio of agriculture.

The new Cabinet ministers are BJP's Sambhaji Patil-Nilangekar, Subhash Deshmukh, Pandurang Fundkar, Ram Shinde, Jaykumar Rawal and RSP's Mahadev Jankar. The junior ministers are Sena's Arjun Khotkar and Gulabrao Patil, BJP's Ravindra Chavan, Madan Yerawar and SSS' Sadashiv Khot.

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray was absent at the swearing-in ceremony held at Vidhan Bhawan.
