Kairana issue boils up: Shiv Sena threatens action

Meerut/Muzaffarnagar: The issue of exodus of Hindu families from Kairana in Muzaffarnagar district is gaining momentum as the BJP MP Hukum Singh is likely to issue second list of such families. The Rashtriya Lok Dal president Ajit Singh, however, rubbishes these allegations of Bharatiya Janata Party while Shiv Sena claims that Hindus are leaving their native places from all Muslim-dominated areas not only kairana.

Ajit Singh says list is fake:

• RLD Chief is saying the list is false.
• Not only Hindu but exodus of muslim families is also taking place.
• Alleges that Hukum Singh is vitiating the atmosphere to ensure victory of his son in the next elections.

Shiv Sena's allegations

• Shiv Sena claims Hindus from Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Saharanpur and Moradabad are on the run.
• It alleges that Hindu families are forced to sell their properties at peanuts.
• SS says no party is coming forward on this serious issue.

Warning of Shiv Sena:

• Shiv Sena brought out a procession displaying anti-Samajwadi Party government banners.
• The western UP chief of Shiv Sena Lalit Mohan Sharma warned of a big movement against this.
• He also demanded case against the family of Akhlaq in Dadri.
• Claims that about 350 Hindu families had left their native place in Kairana recently.

Allegations against Akhilesh government:

• Shiv Sena has alleged of Muslim appeasement by Akhilesh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh.
• Police and the administration have failed to protect the Hindus.
• Amba Vihar and Yogendra Puri have been the worst affected localities.
• According to Shiv Sena, Hindus have disposed of their properties at cheaper rates to shift to Mandi area.
