Petrol Bomb attack at the residence of JK education minister
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Naeem Akhtar's house was attacked with petrol bombs in Parraypora area by the unidentified people in the wee hours on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the minister was not present at his residence at the time of incident.
According to police official," A petrol bomb was hurled at the residence when the incident happened. No injuries or damage to his house have been reported."
It may be mentioned that Naeem Akhtar had a narrow escape on Saturday when his cavalcade was attacked with stones in the village of North Kashmir. The minister was returning from Bandipore district. The attackers also blocked the road with tree trunks.
According to officials, the police officers were rushed to rescue the minister from the attackers.
However, none was hurt in that incident.
