IS threats to avenge Babri, Gujarat and Muzaffarnagar killings
New Delhi: The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has released a 22-minute-long documentary in Arabic language on purported Indian Jihadists, showing the first-time interviews of five absconding terrorists..
The video is apparently the first propaganda by the terror outfit, focusing on India and South Asia. It was released online on Friday last.
Thane engineering student Fahad Tanvir Sheikh, who shifted to Syria in 2014, is the only one identified in the video. He, however, appeared in the video under the alias Abu Amr al-Hindi.
“We will definitely return but this time, with a sword in hand. We cannot wait too long to avenge the Babri Masjid incident and the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat, Kashmir and Muzaffarnagar,” says Sheikh in the video.
Vowing to return to avenge atrocities against Muslims in India, he asks, “have you forgotten the train Bombings in Mumbai, or the attacks in Ahmedabad and Surat and Jaipur and Delhi?”
“To everyone in Indian states who wants to understand our actions, I would say you have got three options: to accept Islam, to pay jizyah (tax) or to get ready to be slaughtered,” says an unidentified Jihadist in the video.
“With Hindus striving hard to convert you Muslims to their faith, is there any other humiliation that you still need to face before you stop chanting that Islam is faith of peace and learn from the prophet who fought with the sword,” a recruit in the video says.
