Income tax raids AAP MLA Kartar Singh’s residence and office

New Delhi: The income tax officials, on Wednesday, raided the residence and office of Aam Admi Party Legislator Kartar Singh Tanwar. The Income Tax officials reached the MLA’s premises at 0830 hours . They have not completed the search operation yet.

Kartar was elected from Delhi's Chhatarpur constituency.

AAP takes to twitter to express anger:

• Reacting to the development, AAP leaders Ashutosh and Dilip Pandey took to twitter and targeted the Modi government, saying that the prime minister has no time to protect Dalits and women and is rather interested in sending AAP MLAs to jail.
• "Now another AAP MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar is targeted. Income Tax Raid at his residence. Modi ji when are you arresting me?" he tweeted.
• AAP leader Dilip Pandey also posted on twitter "Modiji had unleashed CBI, ACB, DP (Delhi Police) earlier, now IT (Income Tax) too. AAP won't bow down, won't bend."
