Neta Ji Paon Lagi: CS aspirant IAS officer to Mulayam Singh
Lucknow: The passengers aboard Lucknow-Delhi flight on Monday were amused to see a senior IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh and also a Chief Secretary post aspirant crossing limits of sycophancy trying to placate Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, who happens to be on the same flight.
According to the fellow passengers, the 1982 cadre IAS officer made it obvious to touch his feet, seek blessings and offering water to Mulayam in order to placate him.
Though, the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is in London with his family and friends, bureaucrats are not leaving any stone unturned to keep the senior party leadership in good humour.
It will be interesting to see who Chief Minister makes Chief Secretary of the state when he returns to India on Tuesday.
It may be mentioned that the post of Chief Secretary had fallen vacant on June 30 and Pravir Kumar has been made the officiating CS.
