Ten CRPF personnel injured in grenade attack in Srinagar

Srinagar: Over ten personnel of central reserve police force (CRPF) were injured in a grenade attack at their post in the small hours on Monday in Nowahata area of Kashmir.

The enraged mob is still venting their grouse by pelting stone on police and indulging in arson.

The death toll in the last three days of street clashes has mounted to 32.

Three policemen held hostage by mob:

  • There were no traces of three policemen who were taken hostage by the irked mob in Kulgam.
  • Police wireless systems, weapons and records were also missing, said a senior police officer.
  • On Monday, five people were injured in Kangan area in Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
