Lucknow: An addition has been made to long to-do list of Uttar Pradesh government as another decision came from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to check the growing activities of illegal land grabbing by the mafias.

In a late night meeting with the officials on Wednesday last, CM Adityanath has announced formation of a task force to grab the land mafias of the state. The force has been formed to free the assets belonging to the revenue department of the government and will include the officials including the Principal Secretary, Commissioner and District Magistrate and other senior authorities.

It could be recalled that helping the state getting rid of the practice of illegal grabbing of land was one of the major poll promises of Bharatiya Janata party.

Other major decisions:

  • The UP government has also decided to put a check on those ration cards which were made through illegal means.
  • All fake Below Poverty Line (BPL) cards and Ration cards will be recovered.
  • Cost of the ration, obtained through wrong means, will also be recovered by the state government.
  • CM yogi has ordered that the families who have already got the cooking gas under the government schemes will not be provided the Kerosene oil that was being given to them by the government.
  • All public benefit schemes will be brought under the single roof by joining them with Aadhaar cards.
  • The schemes will be made online to keep them corruption free and more transparent.
  • UP government has also decided to take up the initiative of bearing the education cost of two kids of each farmer family, who do not have their own lands.
  • The children will also be given scholarships.

CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered officials to keep all schemes, of the UP government, transparent and corruption-free.
