Lucknow: The General Secretary of Samajwadi Party, Ramgopal Yadav has issued a letter in support of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav levelling some ground level charges on the senior leaders of the party.

He wrote that the party members who have given their blood and sweat to the party know the worth of Akhilesh and support him and has alleged that the senior party leaders have indulged themselves in practices like corruption, adultery and have misused the party funds.

Warning the UPiites of misleading statements, the General Secretary said that there are some people in the party who have negative approach while those who support the UP CM posses positive thoughts about the state and its residents.

Warning all the leaders opposing Akhilesh, Ramgopal Yadav said, Those who are opposing M would not be able to win the upcoming state assembly elections.

What the letter states:

  • The letter written by the SP leader on Sunday says that the people who have the reigns of the party are the most corrupted ones and have always discouraged those leaders who work for the betterment of the state.
  • Writing about the Rath Yatra planned by Yadav in view of upcoming assembly elections, the leader stated that we should make this show a successful one and set an example to those who are against the CM.
  • The SP leader concluded his letter with, ‘Jahan Akhilesh Wahan Vijay’ (Victory follows Akhilesh Yadav)

It may be mentioned that a meeting of SP leaders is scheduled to be held on Akhilesh Yadav’s residence on Sunday. As many as 15 Members of legislative assembly (MLA) and 6 Members of Legislative Council (MLCs), who support Party State President Shivpal Yadav are not invited to attend the meet.
