Gangrape: Gayatri Prajapati's son, nephew and three others arrested

Lucknow: In a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Lucknow Police, three people were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the gangrape case in which Samajwadi Party leader Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and some others were allegedly involved.

The three accused arrested are: Rupesh, Vikas Verma and Pintoo alias Amrendra Singh. All these have been charged with raping a minor.

Uttar Pradesh Police has also arrested two sons of Gayatri Prasad for giving shelter to the accused.

It may be mentioned that Supreme Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Gayatri Prasad and six others. Four out of them including Gayatri's gunner Chandrapal have been arrested, while the minister along with two others are still at large.
