New Delhi: The Delhi police have arrested four alleged contract killers who were hatching a plan to kill gangster Chhota Rajan, presently lodged in Tihar Jail.

The alleged contractors identified as Robinson, Junaid, Yunis and Manish were arrested on June 3 and were sent to police remand for quizzing, officials said on Friday.

  • Contractors were working at the behest of Rajan’s arch rival underworld mafia Chhota Shakeel.
  • Investigation was underway, special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Arvind Deep said.
  • They were zeroed down through telephone intercepts.
  • The accused were in constant touch with Shakeel, police claimed.
