Former Arunachal Pradesh CM Kalikho Pul commits suicide
Itanagar: Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul committed suicide on Tuesday in his official residence.
Kalikho Pul was 47-year old.
He hanged himself from the ceiling fan, said a senior police official.
Several MLAs and ministers of both ruling and opposition parties reached Pul’s residence after knowing about the mishap.
"He was staying in CM's House, maybe loneliness crept into him. When your mind is empty, its a devils workshop ...As per his (CM's) last conversation with him, he was positive about the state. He said he was sure people will choose him again," Congress party leader Ninong Ering said.
Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi paid condolences for the departed soul on Twitter.
Shocked and deeply saddened at the untimely demise of Kalikho Pulji. My heart goes out to his family & loved ones
