Chitrakoot Encounter: Police sub-inspector killed, two dacoits injured
Chitrakoot: A police sub-inspector, JP Singh lost his life during the encounter between Uttar Pradesh police and gang of dacoits at Chitrakoot's Manikpur area on Thursday morning.
At least three dacoits had also been injured in police firing. Meanwhile, Bablu Kol, who was carrying a reward of Rs. 7 lakh, managed to escape.
Senior police officers including ADG Allahabad, SN Sabat had rushed for the spot to take a note of the situation.
