Mumbai: The Rising Pune Supergaints will take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the first Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 encounter on Saturday evening with a distinction of having three T20 international captains in their wings.

Beside M S Dhoni, the skipper of Rising Pune Supergiants, the South Africa T 20 captain Faf du Plesis and Australian's captain Steve Smith are also in the new outfit having every possibility to give Mumbai a very very tough fight. Rahane, Peterson and R Ashwin lend further edge to Pune.

Mumbai on the other hand were led by Rohit Sharma, with likes of Rayadu, Pollard, the latest West Indian star Simmons, in-form Parthiv Patel, highly-rated Unmukt Chand and Harbhajan Singh filling the right spots. Rohit had already led Mumbai Indians to two IPL titles in 2013 and 2015.

Dhoni may not be having some of his old favourites of Chennai Superkings like Suresh Raina and Murali Vijay but the team is having just the right combination to give any opponent a run for its money.
