New Delhi: The Delhi police on Sunday arrested Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Okhla, Aamanatullah Khan, police said.

“We have received the complainant again and was trying to manipulate the evidences and threatening her,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Rajeev Ranjan told reporters.

Khan will be produced in court on Sunday, he added.

Earlier, on July 20 last, a 35-year-old woman had filed a case against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan for allegedly threatening her with dire consequences and a case was registered against him under section 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
