New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Randeep Soorjewala has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hiding a telecom scam to the tune of over Rs 45,000 crores.

“This scam is much bigger than the MNREGA scam and the Modi government is trying to help capitalists through this,” Soorjewala said at a press conference.

  • Telecom companies were given the bailout packages.
  • CAG in its ruling of 1971 says that telecom companies should not hide their income.
  • Six telcos raised their objection when the audit started.
