Cong issues fresh poster depicting BJP leaders on Vinash Rath

Gorakhpur: In the latest poll conduct violation, Congress on Wednesday issued a fresh poster in which Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav have been equated to 'Vikas', while Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BSP Supremo Mayawati are projected as 'Vinaash' for Uttar Pradesh.

The controversial poster has been released by Congress District General Secretary Anwar Hussain and Samajwadi Party's former General Secretary for Minority Wing, Aftab Ahmed.

The poster depicts Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi riding on a Vikas Rath, while PM Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Owaisi and Mayawati aboard the Vinash Rath.

The poster shows the photos of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, her daughter Priyanka Gandhi and Akhlesh's wife and SP MP from Kannauj Dimple Yadav.

The poster also has the slogan "UP Ko Yeh Saath Pasand Hai", the punch line for the SP-Congress alliance in state for the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections.
