Complaint registered against Mulayam for Ayodhya killings statement

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) President Mulayam Singh Yadav has landed himself in a soup after giving a controversial statement justifying firing on Hindu Karsevaks in early 1990s during Ram temple movement at Ayodhya. A complaint has been registered by Muslim Rashtriya Manch’s Awadh region coordinater Raees Khan regarding the same. He has got the receiving of the complaint by the SSP Lucknow.

“SSP read the complaint letter and took the DVD of the controversial statement. I have got the receiving from his office,” said Raees Khan.

What else Raees Khan said:

• I have complained regarding not filing of Mulayam’s complaint on August 31 in Hazratganj thana.
• If I will not get the copy of FIR from the concerned police station, then I will take constitutional process for further action.

In a complaint letter, Raees has said that during the launch of a book, Mulayam attempted to spark the sentiments of a particular religion.

Mulayam Singh had said he would not have bothered had the causalities been even more than the actual number of sixteen.

“The statement proves that Mulayam did the killings in Ayodhya for the Muslim appeasement. He is doing vote bank politics,” said Raees.
