CM Yogi Adityanath flags off 27 luxury buses of UP Transport Corporation

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday gave commissioned 27 high-end air conditioned buses of UP transport corporation to commute across the state.

He gave his nod after having a test ride in one of the buses from his 5-Kalidas Marg residence here. He personally observed that there were no issues in the buses that could trouble the passengers. He also congratulated the officials for giving such nice buses to the state.

Interestingly, the high-tech buses will allow passengers to travel on normal fair. It may be mentioned here that the programme, organised at CM Yogi's official residence, was joined by UP transport minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Principal Secretary Aradhana Shukla and many others.

Among the 27 AC buses, 12 are ultra-modern high-end Scania and Volvo buses while remaining 15 are general category (Janrath) AC buses.

The routes these buses will travel:

The Scania and Volvo buses will commute on Gorakhpur-Delhi (Via Kanpur), Gorakhpur-Lucknow-Agra (Via Kanpur) and Lucknow-Delhi (Via Kanpur) routes.

The Janrath buses will travel on the routes of Lucknow-Delhi, Lucknow-Banda, Lucknow-Sitapur-Bareilly, Lucknow-Dumariyaganj-Badhni, Lucknow-Bahraich and four other roads.
