Gorakhpur: 'This city is not a picnic spot, don't try to make it one,' were the words from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while he launched an attack over Rahul Gandhi's plan to visit Gorakhpur on Saturday.

The CM, addressing Gandhi as 'Yuvraj' stated, "There is no need of showing off the fake concerns because those who are sitting far away in Delhi can never feel the pain that people of this city are going through."

CM Adityanath was in the city to inaugurate the Uttar Pradesh government's 'Swachh Uttar Pradesh-Swasthya Uttar Pradesh' campaign in order to lessen the havoc created by the encephalitis in the city. CM yogi has started this movement against Encephalitis stating that prevention is better than cure and it starts with sanitation and broomed a street in city's Andhiyari Bagh locality..

It is to be mentioned that Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi is also expected to visit the kin of children who died in the Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur.

"Governments in last 12-15 years ruined institutions in UP for selfish motives by institutionalizing corruption, kept people deprived of facilities," said UP CM further.
