Buaji showers praise on Bhatija for promoting BSP
Mau: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the bete noire of BSP Supremo Mayawati, must be a happy man, at last. In the wildest of his dreams, he could not have received a word or two of praise from her but these came and came at a time when it was the least expected.
Turning the table on his ‘bhatija’ Akhilesh who she calls as ‘babua’, the former UP Chief Minister thanked him for campaigning more for her party than his. In a left-handed compliment, Mayawati said it was for everyone to hear that during the entire election campaign, Akhilesh mentioned BSP’s election symbol elephant more than his symbol of ‘cycle’.
Addressing an election meeting in Khalispur in Mau assembly constituency on Tuesday, she said Babua (Akhilesh) should be thanked for extending unstinted support to elephant. "Akhilesh is proving himself as a loyal bhatija. He is promoting BSP's party symbol 'Hathi' more than Samajwadi Party's symbol of 'Cycle," said Mayawati.
Carrying on with targeting Bharatiya Janata Party over reservation issue, the BSP President apprehended that the saffron party would do away with the reservation policy, if it came to power. ‘’ BJP is out to implement RSS agenda in this country and reservation does not fit in their scheme of things,’’ she pointed out.
