Murder or suicide? MP, wife and son arrested in Ghaziabad

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Narendra Kashyap was arrested along with his wife Devendri Devi and son Sagar Kashyap, on the charge of murder of his daughter-in-law Himanshi who was found dead in her bathroom on Wednesday in Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh.

Reports reaching here at the state headquarters said that a case had been registered against the troika by the Kavi Nagar police of Ghaziabad on Thursday.

A bullet injury was spotted on the right side of her head. The police had earlier said that it was not clear whether it is case of murder or suicide.

Himanshi's father has alleged that his daughter had not committed suicide but was murdered. In the meanwhile, injury marks found on her body suggests that she was beaten black and blue before she died.

What Hiralal said:

• There were injury marks on her body.
• Her nose was broken.
• She was punched on her eyes and her head bone was fractured.
• Her hands were twisted and two bullets were found from her body.

Will commit suicide:

"I will commit suicide in front of the parliament if injustice is done to my deceased daughter," said Hiralal.

The last rites of Himashi will be performed on Thursday in Badaun.
