Bareilly: To keep an eye on unruly revellers and prevent them from creating trouble during Holi, the Bareilly administration has decided to deploy drone cameras in sensitive areas.

The instructions were passed on to the Baradari police station of Bareilly city.

Station Officer (SO) of Baradari police station Amit Tomar said that his team is keeeping a constant watch on the roof tops of buildings with the help of the drone cameras.

According to the policemen, these drone cameras make their operations more effective and easy.

About Drone camera:

  • Drones are equipped with a high quality zoom camera.
  • It has a flying range of 300 metres from its remote control.
  • It returns automatically to the remote control if it flies away from the coverage area.
  • It has an inbuilt Global Positioning System (GPS).
  • It has sufficient memory to save the recorded visuals.
  • It can track a vehicle’s number from a distance of up to 250 metres.
