Ban liquor to make Yoga successful, says Nitish Kumar in UP

Noida: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed a public meeting in Noida on Wednesday that observed police lathi charge on people who created ruckus for coming on to the stage. Mentioning that liquor consumption in UP was much more than in Bihar, Mr. Kumar said that YOGA will become successful in actual sense when complete ban on liquor would be imposed in the state.

• Nitish Kumar received a grand welcome during a public address
• People flocked to see the Bihar CM since 10.00 in the morning but Nitish Kumar reached at 2.00 pm
• People tried coming on to the stage to meet Bihar CM
• Police had to charge batons to control the crowd from coming on to the stage

Ban on liquor will decline cases of rape by 25 per cent

• A complete ban on liquor in Bihar was imposed on April 4
• Crime rate has plummeted after liquor has been prohibited in the state
• Road accidents in Bihar observed 30 per cent decline
• Cases of rape has come down by 25 per cent after ban on liquor
• Cases of domestic violence has also saw a steep decline
• Uttar Pradesh should impose ban on liquor

• Yoga must not be flaunted as it is a private way of exercising
• Yoga will become successful only after state government would impose ban on alcohol consumption
