It was pleaded on behalf of the petitioner's counsel AK Mishra that earlier a division bench of this Court has directed on December 1, 2015 to the chief secretary to take decision in the matter within 8 weeks but in spite of the Court's direction no decision has been taken and thus action of chief secretary amounts to wilful disobedience of the Court's order.

Earlier, the writ petition was filed by the petitioner that in the light of judgement of Supreme Court in Ram Singh case, the Jat community has to be deleted from OBC category, which was disposed of by the Court by means of order dated December 1, 2015.
