Akhilesh Yadav to address public gathering in Etah and Kasganj today

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday would address five public gatherings in Etah and Kasganj districts.

The Chief Minister would be accompanied by assembly candidates Jugendra Singh Yadav from Etah constituency and Rameshwar Singh Yadav from Janthra constituency of Aliganj.

In Kasganj he would address the gathering in support of the Samajwadi Party candidates Hasrat Ullah Sherwani from Kasganj constituency, Virendra Solanki from Amapur constituency and Kiran Yadav from Patiyala constituency.

It may be recalled that the UPCM along with Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi addressed a mega road show in Lucknow on Sunday last, first after alliance of both the parties. The two leaders are scheduled to address at least 14 Jansabhas together in the state ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The slogan for the election campaign is given by Congress poll strategist Prashant Kishor as 'UP Ko Ye Sath Pasand Hai'.

It is worth mentioning that SP patriarch and Akhilesh Yadav's father Mulayam Singh Yadav seems not so happy with the alliance between the parties and has denied further campaigning for the party.
