Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi are two sides of the same coin: Amit Shah

Ambedkar Nagar: Taking a dig at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday said that the former has become a problem for his mother while the latter has aroused problems for his father.

“The tale of two princes is leaving UP high and dry. Whether it is a family drama of Samajwadi Party or Rahul Gandhi’s habit of arousing problems for his mother, all these things dragged UP backward,” said Amit Shah while addressing an election meeting here.

Taking on Congress, Shah said it ruled over the country for years but it asks what Prime Minister Narendra Modi did in two-and-a-half years. “Congress ruled over the country for 60 years, but did not let the country prosper,” said Shah, questioning, “Who are they to ask PM Modi about his development works for the country?”

He warned people of the state not to get misled by the two princes (SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi), as they have joined hands to execute more scams in Uttar Pradesh/

"UP has gone through a 'bua-bhatija' war for years. With BJP's win in UP polls, the fate of the state will change,” said Shah.

He said UP people will teach a lesson to opportunistic alliance.
