Akhilesh Yadav government signs MOUs with Netherlands
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh and Netherlands government signed a memorandum of understandings (MOUs) on Thursday for mutual cooperation in the field of skill development, recycling and dairy industry as the prime focus.
Under this, farmers will get to know about the modern technology regarding food processing.
- Netherlands will cooperate in the field of urban development and infrastructure, water management, water supply, sanitation, water resources and much more.
- Netherlands government will also assist in sewage treatment and cleaning of the river Yamuna in Agra.
- UP and Netherlands will work together in the areas like smart cities, industries, energy efficiency, cycle tracks, Agriculture, dairy & beverages.
MOU will remain in force for a period of next three years.
CM Akhilesh Yadav said that these developmental processes, which are undertaken by the state government, will speed up the efforts to increase the income of the farmers.
Netherlands Ambassador and UP Chief Secretary Deepak Singhal signed the MOU in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister also gifted his photo-collection based book to the ambassador of Netherlands.
CM’s Chief advisor Alok Ranjan, Rajendra Chaudhary, Member of Legislative Council Madhukar Jaitley also marked their presence on the occasion.
