Akhilesh breaks down, says he would resign from post

Lucknow: The battle within Yadav family has turned emotional for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The UP CM got teary-eyed while addressing the party legislature meeting and said I would have resigned if Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) had asked me to do so.

"If the party members find anyone better than me, I would happily resign from the post of CM," Yadav said.

What else he said:

The CM said that if his father has given his sweat and blood to the party, his reputation is also at stake. This is all I have.

"I sacked Gayatri Prajapati and Raj Kishore at the behest of party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav", said UP CM.

I also sacked Deepak Singhal on my father's wish, said Akhilesh.
