New Delhi: An air medical ambulance, coming from Patna to Delhi, carrying seven members on board crash-landed near Najafgarh in Delhi. Excepting one none was critically injured.

According to preliminary reports, the air ambulance landed in Kair village in Najafgarh, located 20 kilometres away from National Capital Region (NCR), after losing both its engines.

The exact reason behind the crash is, however, not klnown. Reports say that there was an internal engine failure which caused the chartered air ambulance to hit the ground

Relief and rescue operation have been taken.

A minor fire has been reported at the site and fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.

Civil Aviation Ministry, along with the authorities of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport have assured to provide more insight into the accident shortly.
