New Delhi: The mistakes made by Punjab Kings in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL, the team is repeating the same mistakes once again. Not only this, even in the last IPL played in UAE, the team was losing the winning matches and again when the Punjab team has turned to the UAE grounds, it has happened to the team here as well.

KL Rahul on loosing match:

In their first match of the UAE leg of IPL 2021, Punjab Kings lost by two runs. Even the team could have easily won this match, but the team could not even score 3 runs in the last four balls. Regarding this, team captain KL Rahul has said that we have to learn from past mistakes.

KL Rahul said after the match, "This defeat is hard to swallow. We have been a team that has experienced such games before. We need to see how we can handle the pressure better. Trying to finish in the 18th over sometimes you try too hard and lose your way and make the opponents come back in the match. We haven't learned from past mistakes. Now we are going to come back strong and look at the next. Will try to win five matches. We pulled things back well with the ball, kept taking wickets, which is very important in this format. For me, Mayank Agarwal and even Aiden Markram scoring runs in my first IPL match was important."

Actually, Punjab Kings got a target of 186 runs to win against Rajasthan Royals. Punjab's team had scored 182 runs in 19 overs, but in the last over, the team could score only one run. Even in the last four balls, Punjab had to score 3 runs to win.

Punjab lost two wickets, but three runs were not scored. This was the reason that the team lost the match by 2 runs. This defeat has also dealt a blow to Punjab's hopes of reaching the playoffs, because from here onwards, if the team has to survive in the race for the playoffs, then it will have to win all its remaining five matches.
