Addressing a rally in West Bengal’s Malda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday hit out at the TMC government for poor law and order situation in the state. “Bengal, which had once led nation, now facing lawless situation, said Adityanath, adding “Jai Shri Ram’ slogan not allowed in Bengal but people won’t allow this to continue. He also said that the Mamata government has failed to stop cow smuggling, and love jihad.

CM Yogi raises Love Jihad, cow smuggling:

“'Love jihad is being executed here [West Bengal]. We made a law in Uttar Pradesh. But there is appeasement politics here [West Bengal]. So the state government is unable to stop cow smuggling and love jihad -- dangerous activities that will show results in the time to come,” Yogi Adityanath said.

Yogi Adityanath said, “Durga puja gets prohibited in Bengal today, cow slaughter is forcefully started during Eid. People's sentiments are being toyed through cow smuggling, but the state government remains silent. Now, it has attempted to ban the slogan 'Jai Sri Ram' and attacks are being executed,” said.

Hitting out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her party the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Yogi Adityanath said, “I'd like to tell the Bengal government and request Mamata didi that there was a government in Uttar Pradesh that used to fire bullets at lord Ram devotees in Ayodhya. You can see the condition of that government now. Now, it's the TMC government's turn in Bengal.”

Targeting the TMC-ruled government in West Bengal, Yogi Adityanath said, “West Bengal has always been a land of cultural nationalism in India. It has been the land of the revolution for India's freedom struggle. Today, it hurts us, the entire country, when we see an environment of anarchy here.”
