New Delhi: Wrestler Sushil Kumar arrested for the murder of young wrestler Sagar Dhankar has become more difficult, his railway job is in danger. Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar has confirmed the suspension of Mangalwal from the job of wrestler Sushil Kumar who was arrested in the murder case.

Sushil Kumar lost his Railway Job:

He said that since the investigation of crime against Sushil Kumar is going on. In such a situation, he is suspended from the job of Northern Railway. Two-time Olympic medalist Sushil was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on the occasion of World Wrestling Day, ie on 23 May.

Sushil Kumar is Senior Commercial Manager at Northern Railway. He has been in the Delhi government on deputation since 2015, who posted him as Special Officer (OSD) at the Chhatrasal Stadium for the development of sports at the school level.

Officials said that Sushil Kumar's deputation period was extended in 2020 and he had applied for extension of service in 2021 as well, but the Delhi government rejected his request. They were sent to their original cadre Northern Railway.

Sagar Dhankar Murder:

The Delhi Police had recently announced a reward of ₹1 lakh for any information that leads to the arrest of wrestler Sushil Kumar, who was on the run. Also, a reward of ₹50,000 was announced for Ajay, who is also on the run in the same case, Delhi Police officials said. A brawl among wrestlers was reported on 4 May in which some wrestlers were injured and they to be admitted to a hospital and one of them died during treatment.

Earlier, Additional DCP (North-West district) Dr Guriqbal Singh Sidhu had said, "We have recorded statements of all the victims and they have all named Sushil Kumar. We are conducting raids to nab him. We have found during investigation that a quarrel had allegedly taken place between Sushil Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others in the parking area of the stadium."
