New Delhi: It is freezing in many areas of the country. Now in the meantime, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain and snowfall. There is snowfall in the mountains in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir due to which cold conditions are likely to increase over the plains of North India.

From Tuesday to Thursday, the plains in North India will tremble with the cold wave.

Orange Alert in Delhi Haryana:

The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert regarding Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh. During this period, the maximum temperature will fall and the minimum temperature can also fall by up to three degrees. In addition, thick fog may also remain under shade.

Snowfall in Kashmir & Himachal:

The maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday was 20.9 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.6 degree Celsius. Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are once again covered with snow. Due to this, the troubles of the local people have increased.

Due to rain and snowfall and cold wave conditions in many areas of North India during the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in most areas of Rajasthan was reduced by four to five degrees Celsius. So Churu temperature was recorded at 0.6 degree Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has said that the effect of winter in Rajasthan can remain till December 31. They said that for the past two days, Western disturbance is active in North India. Due to this, rain and snowfall occurred in many areas of the country.

Thunderstorms occurred in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. Due to this the cold has increased. The Meteorological Department has said that dense fog may occur at some places in the coming days. The meteorological department predicts light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir in the coming three days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of mist and cold wave in some districts of Himachal Pradesh on December 29, 30 and 31.
