White Fungus cases in Ghaziabad:

With six cases of white fungus coming on Saturday, the total number has now increased to 8 in Ghaziabad. All these patients are being treated in the same hospital. Black fungus was first detected in all these patients and after treatment started, they were sent to tissue lab for examination of white fungus.

41 black fungus cases:

According to the UP Health Department, there are 41 patients of black fungus in Ghaziabad district, out of which 26 are admitted to Harsh ENT Hospital. White fungus has been found in the patients of this hospital. Dr. BP Tyagi, who treats the patients, told that this disease is also called aspergillosis (Candida). It affects almost every part of the body through blood.

White fungus is more dangerous than black fungus, as it can affect the lungs along with nails, skin, stomach, kidney, brain and mouth. Apart from this, it can also infect the private part of the patient. Let us know that all these patients of white fungus have been infected after the post covid in the hospital and all are diabetic.

According to doctors, people who have low immunity, white fungus affects them the most. This can also happen when people come in contact with water or in a dirty environment with mold.

The disease is not contagious, but it can spread to vital organs and cause complications. People with low immunity, diabetes, cancer, or those who use steroids regularly are at greater risk of getting infected with white fungus.
