New Delhi: Most parts of the country are currently seeing a rise in temperature. Apart from a mild rain and western disturbance in the morning and evening, temperatures are seen increasing throughout the day in many states of the country including North India.

Rain alert in North India:

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain along with thunderstorm reported at some places in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh today. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir.

IMD forecast:

On the 7th of March in the national capital Delhi, the possibility of the first thunderstorm and light drizzle expressed due to the effect of western disturbance. According to the Meteorological Department, dusty winds will run at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour on 7 March. Also, there is a possibility of drizzle in some areas. At the same time, the temperature is estimated to be between 30 and 31 degrees Celsius.

Himachal Pradesh is seeing a change in the weather. There are chances of rain and snow in many areas of the state on 7th March. Orange alert has been issued for heavy rain and snowfall in eight central and high mountain districts on Sunday. By March 11, there is a forecast of cloudy in the entire state. This change in weather is taking place due to the activity of Western Disturbance.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has informed that light rain and hailstorm may occur in western UP on 6 and 7 March. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning flashing in different places of western Uttar Pradesh on the 7th itself.
